ABOUT ATC
Affordable Tax Consultants (hereafter referred to as ATC) offers a wide range of financial services, including bookkeeping to balance sheet, debtors and creditors control functions, budgeting, payroll administration and salary structuring, tax consultancy services, tax return submissions and tax registrations to businesses of any size as well as to individuals. Our flexibility enables our clients to receive customized services based on their needs. Since 2008, ATC has submitted personal income tax returns. The market has welcomed ACT’s services thus far and the results of the finalized assessments from the South African Revenue Service have mostly been favourable for our clients. In many instances, assessments have been queried on our client’s behalf and the situation has been completely turned around; to the extent that those who were initially told that they had to pay additional tax amounts to SARS, ended up having this amount reduced due to us querying the original assessment and requesting that a revised assessment be completed by SARS.

VISION AND MISSION Our aim is to be affordable and beneficial to all members of the public. We have realised that there is a gap in the market for experience and knowledge with regards to the tax and financial services which we provide due to the number of unskilled workers who are now required to register for an income tax number. We aim to meet this need that is being identified and help everyone to meet the requirements of SARS. ATC is dedicated to improving awareness of accounting and tax regulations and requirements in the community, with the aim of assisting individuals and businesses to effectively manage their financial related responsibilities. ATC focuses on bringing together the client’s best interest and compliance with applicable legislation, assisting our clients by providing the financial detail required to achieve the optimal rate of production in their businesses. ABOUT OUR MANAGEMENT Nicole Ostrom has 5 years experience in the field of accounting; including bookkeeping, cashbooks, foreign currency processing, debtors control, creditors control, budgeting, financial analysis and financial management. She has 5 years experience in payroll administration and has experience with both manual and electronic payroll processes (currently using the Pastel Payroll system), and has experience with salary structuring from management and directors to entry level staff and independent contractors. Nicole Ostrom also has a broad knowledge of tax procedures and is experienced in the submission of tax registrations, returns, queries and consultancy. As a tax practitioner, she has direct access to SARS consultants and support. |
